Limit search to Bacoli.

The site is an amazing construction and so big.The calcification from 2000 years ago can still be seen, and if you look at the different shapes at the top of the arches, all the ones around the outside are different...
Entrance is free but you are welcome to leave a tip for the people who open the site.

You pass through Caesar's garden across a drawbridge, all the way up to the battlements, all the time being treated to spectacular views of the ancient and current sites of Inhabitation on the bay.
On a gorgeous day the view is spectacular and unique.

Plenty of other areas and to explore, changing rooms, more baths, frescoes and views over the bay of Naples.
The site is vast, you need time and stamina to enjoy your visit, worth every step of the way.

The lake itself is very small and one could walk around it in less than an hour but the best views are from within the park.
It has a pretty tiled floor, beautiful views and exhibits of the time.

The tour was amazing, honestly she knew so much, the videos inside the site were awesome and we got to go inside the church too and see the paintings.
The site is only open on Saturdays and Sundays and that's why the weekend is the best time to explore the Campi Flegrei sites.

Highlights were the tuna potato salad, braised cabbage, and definitely the fried fish - probably sprats, simply delicious, all washed down with a bottle of most quaffable on-site produced Falanghina.
As we sit we watch young lovers walking by, old lovers taking selfies and families stopping for a while to take in the site.

Sibyl's cave is beautiful, the walkways among the trees are so enjoyable, the different temples as you go uphill and the stunning views from above.
Of all the many sites I've explored in Italy and Sicily, this one moved me the most--the geometry of the entrance walls is stunning, the overall design resonant of Virgil's lines, the labyrinthine purpose of the a...

You will be rewarded by what you find at the end of the tunnel, a magnificent area of excavations and a fantastic view on the sea.
That said, the site is an amazing piece of the Roman empire...a villa complex with a very impressive tunnel entrance, theaters and views across the bays.
