Situated in the middle of the bustle and bustle of shinjuku lies this beautiful park.. Shinjuku Gyoen is home to many beautiful plants and trees and a must see during spring.

This park houses the nicest Shinto shrine complex in Tokyo, but the stroll through the park makes it even more worthwhile.
Loved this shrine the most .. the park is very relaxing and clean .. looked really different than the other shrines I visited

There was a man planting some irises as we walked by and it was a good reminder to stop and appreciate nature, the pleasure of gardens and gardening.
Overall, this large park is a beautiful and peaceful place in the center of Tokyo, and i would highly recommend it for many notable aspects (see my pictures).
