Tokyo Tower is a good way to spend an hour with the family, when in Tokyo. The views are great and glass deck sections are hair-raising. It is quite a lengthy walk from the nearest train station, so be prepared for that if with kids. There's also not much else in the area to see... but it's still worth the effort, for the views alone.

We arrived at night but this is one of the first things I saw when we arrived in the area. There is a great walkway near the area and you can get close to the statue. Walking around in the evening and I can imagine everything is hoping during the day.

Not bad for a small collection in the middle of the city for killing time. The architecture of the museum itself is an art piece. The Japanese garden is also a plus. All in all it was a pleasant visit.

Our tickets included the indoor observation deck and the exhibition - the outdoor deck was closed. The views were amazing. We were hoping to see Mt Fuji, but even though it appeared to be a clear day, it was too hazy. One thing to note is that on a sunny day, the observation floor is like a greenhouse - it was really warm up there! Layers would be a good idea so you don't get overheated. There is also a gift shop to visit after experiencing the observation deck.

With so many exhibitions to choose from some of which required a pre-paid ticket and others were free, it was helpful for us to choose which exhibitions to see. It’s a large building that is architecturally interesting with coffee shops and restaurants to take a break. There are 3 floors of exhibits. There is limited English brochures depending upon the exhibit.

Lovely park area containing the Zojo-ji temple. Tranquill gardens (with restroom facilities) allow for a wander around a number of religious buildings Inc the Zojo-ji.
You can access the buildings (containing amazing deity statues ) & pray/respect.
There are shops to buy souvenirs & the back drop is the towering red & white Tokyo tower

The rainbow bridge will give you beautiful views of the city. We traveled over the rainbow bridge during sunrise. It was beautiful to see from the water, as the sun rose over the cities tall buildings.

Fantastic experience at this premier art museum and the viewing deck on top of the building. The "Our Ecology" exhibit was fascinating and very accessible. Judos to the curators, who brought together stunning work from artists all over the world to reimagine and explore the world's environmental woes. Yet the exhibit managed to be awe-inspiring instead of depressing. The presentation was simple but beautiful. The entry price includes access to the viewing deck, which is a bargain. Wonderful gift shop as well.

Business district and a very upmarket area with high rise buildings. Many expats live around here. Reminds me of Canary Wharf in London. Nice shops, very upmarket. Clean and well kept. Lovely eateries and bars as well. Go earlier in the day as it becomes a bit dead later in the evening when most of the workers have left. The area can also become a little seedy and isolated. There is a cinema, art museum and other things on the premises. If you want to get away from the noise and chaotic streets of Shibuya and Shinjuku then this is a good option. Easy to connect to Roppongi Metro station.

The temple itself is ok but the highlight is the graveyard and related story of the 47 samurai. I had not heard the story before and found it quite captivating. They give you 90 burning incense sticks for your admission price and you place them at the various graves. It made for a memorable visit.

Odaiba Kaihin Koen is right by the sea. When we went there, there were some construction works in the promenade and we couldn't walk too much. The main highlight of the park is the Statue of Liberty Replica.
Its a nice park, very green. The views are really photogenic.

Amazing. Design 21 21 had a very interesting Exhibition on Material and the way its used by the animal world and humans , One was made by a crow which made its nest out of Coat hangers, which may be due to greater bendability of the hangers over twigs. A cross section of Japanese Green Woodpeckers Nest. The building itself is also amazing by Japanese's Architecture Tadao Ando.
