Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- NigelDCapeTownCape Town, South Africa565 contributionsWhat a spectacular complex. I would not very well known outside Piemonte. The gardens a parklands are huge , apparently the largest Royal Park in Europe ?Written 14 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alessandro FMilan, Italy32,740 contributionsThis beatiful boat is inside the museum of Reggia di Venaria, in the Scuderia Juvarriana.
The bucentaur was commisioned by Victor Amadeus II in 1729, it was made on the boatyards of Venice, under the supervision of the renowned court architect Filippo Juvarra. The Bucentaur became a key element in Savoy court life , an authentic float palace. It was used for all the family's major celebrations.Written 15 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It also contains a village with a castle and other royal buildings in neo-gothic and eclectic style, a lake and a number of vast meadows, coppices, and secular trees. It is one of the last existing areas with the native trees that once covered the entire Po Valley, therefore of great naturalistic and environmental interest.Written 26 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rlk2013Kerry, Ireland117 contributionsCastello Della Mandria is a short bus trip from the centre of Turin. In a small area there is Venaria Reale, and for footie fans, the Allianz Stadium. We did all three in a day and, although I’m glad I went to the others, I could’ve happily stayed at Mandria for the day. Everything in it, from floor to ceiling, is original; flooring, furniture, antiquities, everything and that, for me, is the most important. The staff were so helpful and because we were there early, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Whilst in Turin we did palazzos, basilicas, piazzas, footie stadiums, bike tour, we even went to Milan to visit the Duomo - Mandria was my favourite. If you go nowhere else, go here.
To get there catch the Venaria Express from Piazza Castello and if you’ve already purchased your metro ticket, use that. The tickets covers the GTT network and costs €10 for 3 days unlimited travel around Turin.
When you’ve been inside Mandria be sure and have refreshments or lunch at Caffe RealeWritten 8 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ViaBenGreater London, UK902 contributionsThe huge stables building is indeed beautiful and it is an integral part of the Royal Palace, but I think it is not worth paying extra for the visit. The architecture can be admired from the outside and unless you have a specific interest in the (3) royal carriages and the Bucintoro (the House of Savoy Royal Barge), there is not much to see inside.Written 8 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alessandro FMilan, Italy32,740 contributionsThis church and above all the square was designed by the court architect of Savoy, Amedeo di castellmonte, for purely schenographic purposes as a prelude to the majestic palace that will be seen further on.
Built in the second half of the 17th century.
The two circles that make up the oval of the square have at their center two beautiful columns that support two statues of the Madonna and an angel
