Snorkelling is best near rocky outcrops such as that about 40m out from lifeguard hut near the crepe shack (which is great value!) and shady play park on the Pinaret side.
There is a good car park near the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants near the sea front.

Its a 25 or so minute walk from the nearest car park on main road ** down an easy seldom used bush road.

Very close to a nature reserve so would recommend you a prepared with mosquito repellents, they can be a bit bitey in the evenings :-).
Its clean, easy to park up, lots of shops, supermarkets, and childrens playgrounds if required!

Small beaches near the the bar , public wooded park on the beach, A super spot, walk past the port and old industrial area, then keep close to to the beach and steps lead down to a gravel coast path.

... pedestrianised walkway so we had to retrace a little and try again, we then found the right track in through the woods, Just drive as far as you are comfortable with, park up under the trees and continue on foot.
The walk starts off with a gentle uphill stroll through shaded woods At the top of the hill there is a small hut which is used by the groundsman as this is some kind of national park.
