Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- harrybearse1Cheshire, UKJust love coming here. Fabulous place to walk and relax. We also ate there and had pretty good food, sat in the back which was well decorated for autumn/HalloweenWritten 1 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Steps run down to the canal aqueduct where you can get a good view. It is even higher than the aqueduct. Still in regular use. Very impressive with great views from the train.Written 12 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Roger GGlasgow, UKWe spotted the banner advertising the weekly mini-market and were greeted by friendly folk in the church hall. So unusual these days to find a church that is open to the public and 'users'. The Myddeltons of Chirk Castle have created an unusual series of very impressive memorials, The information boards are very helpful and it was good to see the memorial to the lady organist who drowned whilst out swimming. A couple of booklets keep up the Welsh tradition of detailing the life of church vicars.Written 12 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Val S SWrexham, UKHad a pleasant surprise with this party, staff made children feel very special, food served in the play den was perfectly acceptable by the children, who all enjoyed it, outside play area could do with a make over, staff are seen to wander around when it is quiet just keeping up on a bit of cleaning, finger prints get everywhere ! Would go again and shall recommend !Written 22 February 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- We went gorge-walking with Nathan. It totally exceeded our expectations as there were so many things to see and way more cool jumps and slides than we thought there would be. The gorge is so beautifully unspoilt and wild, and Nathan really knew his stuff. We felt totally refreshed and excited to see what other activities we can do with TNR outdoors this summer. Nathan took loads of photos and videos so we have these to look at when we're grey and old haha. Good times!!!!Written 23 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
