Tripadvisorโ€™s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice snow village! It was my first time for skiing and it was good to know that it caters from zero knowledge to pro skiers! Yes, I did my skiing class at Gran HIRAFU however, it was raining then hence I had a hard time.

I booked a Canyoning tour with Hanazono following advices from Mykola, and I can say the tour I had was amazing.
We went on sunday morning and it was safe, fun and we observed a few things with our guide Shogo (gold, fish...). I was stoked when I saw the last difficulties of the day: un big waterfall and a 6 meters jump!!!
I can say it was totally worth it and I am now thinking about booking another tour to experience the Mach3 zipline

We booked via Explore Niseko (transfers from here) for a 1 hr session. We had an excellent time, excellent views of Mt Yotei and a delicious hot chocolate during the session.

    Tip: bring your sunglasses too.

Just an amazing field of flowers with Mt. Yotei in the background. May is the best time to go to see everything in full bloom. The flowers start to fade in color by June. No cost but sometimes parking is hard to find.

A very pretty hike with two river crossings over sketchy wooden bridges, Along the short hike you experience "Komorebi" refers to the sunlight that filters through the leaves of trees. Once you reach the marsh the views open up to beautiful mountains.
With how fast the flora grows in this area the hike can change in two weeks time with different color flowers or just from a forest to a jungle. I've hiked it in winter and spring, it was different each time.

I admit, we didn't make it to Lake Hangetsu as we were not prepared for the trek. There's hardly any reviews here for visiting during summer so here it is:

This is a proper trek and not a walk in the park. Proper trekking shoes are recommended, and not sneakers, which we had on, as the path can get slippery and trees/shrubs can get in the way. We saw a Japanese couple come fully geared for the trek as we exited the path, and they probably thought we were nuts to attempt it without proper shoes at the very least. However, we did come across a tanuki (raccoon dog) from a distance, so I was a happy camper even if I didn't make it to the lake.

It's also pretty nice in summer. Get away from the crowds and head into the mountains. Regardless of the weather, you're going to have an epic adventure. Actually a pretty easy hike for the quality of the terrain and snow and the length of the ride you're going to get.

I could't believe that area is one part of Niseko Resort. Quiet, small, but made us so relax.
10 mins walk from JR Kutchan station, as 10mins drive or take a bus from Niseko Grand-hirafu.
Staff can't speak english well but so friendly and helpful. Looks no instructors, patrol.
It was surprised to anyone can use Nordic Ski with Shoes for Free! and the kids sled area was so much fun for kids, with a little thrill. Also it has a little cafe and the food are yum and local price.

I came here in the Winter and the ground was filled with snow. It was beautiful with the snow mountains in the background.
