Amusement & Theme Parks
Hello. Thank you very much for your mail. I'm Ito, Marine park manager. The small desert island and "Awashima" which float on Suruga Bay. It's also possible to see Mt. Fuji on the day which cleared up at the aquarium where an islet of 2.5 km of entourage who appear on Nishi-izu was used wholly. It's a ship while looking at Fuji which floats on Suruga Bay, one way 2-3 minutes. (A round trip charge for a ship is included in an admission fee.) There is a dolphin pool where a natural sea was used (bottle-nose dolphin) in the park, and it's also possible to see the view which is being also trained with a keeper besides the show. California sea lion develops various play immediately and a seal rarely participates, and you heal charm at the pool where I have no barriers at a hair seal pool. The fish through which I live in a sea around Awashima and the uncooked food by which it lives in Suruga Bay can be involved with an echinus, a starfish and a sea cucumber by exhibited other contact water tanks at an aquarium. And the frog house of" the world where it takes pride in its best of Japan exhibition genus by far the most is must-see! The exhibition genus always exhibits 50 kinds, more than 100, and there are a colorful frog and a rare frog and the person who visits from a distant place because it's exhibited. The creative event the spring holidays, GW, the summer holidays and the winter holidays can't experience easily at other aquariums is also held much, so HP is noteworthy! A turtle pool, the square as much as living where it'll be done to see Humboldt penguin and a cape penguin over acrylic fiber and the Awashima fishing pond horse mackerel and red sea bream can fish also enjoy nature fully in the other ones while having various facilities and taking a walk through a prom and if, the cozy theme park which can be spent comfortably for one day.

It's the world's first aquarium themed on deep-sea life and the only aquarium in the world to exhibit a frozen specimen of a coelacanth.
Although the theme is "deep-sea life," the number of deep-sea creatures on display is less than half of the total number of exhibits, most of the deep-sea creatures on display are in the range of 200m to 500m in depth, and there are almost no exhibits of deep-sea organisms that live in areas so deep that light cannot reach them. This is not only because most deep-sea creatures are difficult to capture, but also because their ecology is shrouded in mystery and they are not easy to keep in captivity. In addition, the habitat is subject to strong water pressure, which makes it extremely difficult to prepare a large tank, and most of the tanks used for exhibits are small. This makes it easy for visitors to become crowded with other visitors, and it is extremely crowded on holidays, mainly from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. Naturally, there are no dolphin shows, and since the facility is located in a corner of Numazu Port, it is not possible to set up a large tank in the first place. Although it is not expected to have any powerful marine life exhibits, the array of deep-sea creatures on display, which are rarely seen in other aquariums, is sure to thrill visitors. It is also fascinating to see stuffed specimens of Frill shark and Megamouth Shark, which are extremely difficult to find, let alone capture.
The first floor is dedicated to the aforementioned deep-sea creatures, while the second floor displays two frozen and three stuffed coelacanths. Coelacanths are currently listed as an endangered species, and although it's not possible to see them alive up close, it's not often that visitors have the opportunity to see real coelacanths up close, even if they are frozen or stuffed specimens. On the other hand, it's not as crowded as the deep-sea tank on the first floor, so you can enjoy the exhibit at a relatively leisurely pace.
Both escalators and elevators are available, making it easy for visitors with disabilities, such as wheelchairs, to use the museum.
Note that admission fees can only be paid in cash or by PayPay. Many, but not all, of the exhibits have explanations in English as well as Japanese, so visitors from overseas can also enjoy them.

This is a lovely inner, protected area to swim and dive off the Suguma Bay on Izu peninsula of Japan. The beaches are small black pebbles and there are a variety of small hotels that cater to scuba divers, snorkelers, paddle boarders, kayakers and fisherman. Out on the spit is the Ose Shrine, a symbol of faith for the fisherman in Suguma Bay, which is surrounded by ancient juniper trees. The beach itself is protected and the patrons have submerged a number of artifacts for reef building. Lots of eels, hawkfish, filefish, striped eel catfish , orange cup coral and reef fish to see for divers.

This place is worth a visit if you are in Numazu. You can either drive or take public transit. If you are driving and going on holiday, go early because parking fills up quickly

You can definitely get very fresh seafood that is way cheaper then say Tsukiji, and you won't have to worry about waiting for hours like Tsukiji either. Most visitors are local Japanese tourists. The market has a variety of seafood. Definitely check it out.

Ocean view spot on the way from Nomadu to Heda.
If you drive along the bay, you can stop here easily.

    View is not bad.
Mt. Fuji, I saw from here.
But, there are lots of other places you can see that.
    So, not greatest.

I came to add some reviews about this place. There's not much reviews about this place so maybe my trip gonna give you guys some help

I'll start with the boat to Awashima of course it's Aqours theme.
and when you are at the Island you'll see LoveLive Theme restaurant (I've go inside)

I walked in to the island and see many of penguins at the right there's a gift shop from awashima (that have Aqours keychains, some wallpapers and bags)

after that there's a seal shows that you should forget to cheer them up
    they're so cute <3

and then i walk to the light tunnel (I didn't went to Awashima Hotel, They're only for their customers) and when pass that tunnel you walked around 1-2 mins you'll see Uranohoshi high school.

FYI (You can follow that way to back to the penguin that we first met)
No need to turn back (but turn back's a better idea, there's Numazu view from Awashima)

I walked around the Island and finally met the stairs that ours girls going up to the top
but i cant go up cause it's slipped.

and after we pass there you'll see a lot of penguins
I went there when their staff feed penguis (he calls their and feed them *-*)

then you'll see The Frog Museum which is Kanan-chan house

and Finally there's another Seal, Penguins shows.

I really recommend this places if you're Aqours fan
but if you're not you can come with your kids but there's few things to say wow in this Island.

Awashima

You can find varieties of seafoods to bring back for your friends.
That was the main points of this centre to me.
You can try small portion of them to find out your choice.

    Enjoy

We got lucky because they were having some sort of festival. They had demonstration of Yabusame, Shuriken, Katana, etc. The place is peaceful and nice enough, but I'm not sure how much I would have enjoyed if there weren't these exhibition.

I love the spot. Amazing sunset, great to enjoyed long walke/run/bike ride/rollerblading in the 5 km long promenade. Definitely not the best if you plan to lay down on the beach and swim as many garbage lands on the shore from the ocean, probably because of the current and the fact that the beach is located at the very end) back of the beautiful Suruga bay
