Not so close to reach by foot from the main road, but quite well preserved and easy to spot and photograph from the car parkings available on the same road

It's worth the 20 minute walk from the village and the final scramble up the rocks to get to this fascinating ruin. The information boards give great insight into the castle's history. But the best of it is the spectacular views.

Difficult to choose the best part of this place. Signs explain the castle and ongoing excavation! Views of the surrounding mts & valleys are gorgeous! Friendly cows/calves roam the path to the castle! Even in a rain shower it was spectacular--a rainbow over Beget followed!!
