My husband and I came for a tasting on 21st January. Lovely interesting wines poured by the owner who was both knowledge and down to earth. A lovely relaxed tasting that meant you really got to chat away about the wine. I have been to a lot of wineries .These wines have something special.

I went to Three Miners with my wife and 3 friends for a tasting. When we arrived we drove through the vineyard to the cellar door. Not a soul to be seen. Then the owner, Jeff, rode out of the vines on his quad bike to greet us. The cellar door is what you would expect a gold miners house would be like when the gold rush was on 150 years ago. Rough and ready with a worn wooden floor and a well aged tasting counter.

Jeff hosted us very well telling us the history of the winery and the wines while we sampled the fruits of his labours. After sampling the full range of wines we made our selections and headed back to our accommodations fully stocked up for an afternoons antipasto platter by the dam and a good hearty Pinot to go with the BBQ'ed pork leg for dinner.

A small vineyard with some great wine, Nice to see some white wine, they have a very nice Riesling, also Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, plus a very pleasant Pinot Rose, and of course the Pinot Noir.
Wines are well priced by the glass or bottle; they have limited food, in the form of picnic style platter, which you make up yourself, you have a small choice from cheeses , cold meats and crackers from the Deli fridge, they have a small out door area with table and chairs at the cellar door, plus picnic rugs if you want to sit by the dam. The staff and owner were helpful, just a small winery not one of your big corps here. Worth checking out if you are in the area and enjoy wine.

A wonderful, small rustic winery, that is definitely worth seeking out!
Situated on the back road between Clyde and Alexandria, and is open most days, between 11 - 5pm.
The atmosphere, rustic, the welcoming, warm and friendly, the tasting setting, relaxed and unpressured. We were able to discuss the wines, the vines, the area and life!
There were five different wines to sample, and you were given a sample large enough to truly appreciate the wine! (No thimbles full here!)
Across the board with their wine, the quality of the fruit was allowed to speak up, with gentle massaging by the wine maker.
Of note to me the Pinot Gris, and a beaut fresh Pinot Noir.

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Kirsten!

Cheers

PS The wines are of a very reasonable price!

We visited three miners on a work Christmas wine tasting tour. We had pre-booked so Kirsten knew we were coming. It was a perfectly set up tasting space and lovely seating outside. Kirsten was very knowledgeable and the wine was the best we tasted on the tour.

Having thoroughly enjoyed two of this winery's wines at dinner the night before, my curiosity got the better of me. Arriving at the winery at 430pm I expected it to be closed but our group was warmly welcomed by the owner and we enjoyed an if ironstone tasting out of beautiful glasses including the Pinot Noir from a custom made Ridel glass. The wines were all very good and the surroundings enhanced the experience. One to watch!

While enjoying a few days caravanning in Clyde we were keen to taste some of Central Otago's great wines. The cool tasting room is a clever blend of rustic and style. Kirstin quickly arrived from her vineyard duties to welcome us and proved to be a friendly informative host. We enjoyed all the wines particularly the Riesling and the superb Pinot Noir which was served in the special Central Otago Pinot Noir glass which really showed the full flavours of the wine. Luckily we had enough room in the car for our purchases!

By Appointment only, but we did not read the brochure correctly and just turned up. The very accommodating owner popped over and let us taste the wine. The favourites were the Pinot Noir & the Reisling - beautiful. Very rustic and a cool back story to the name, along with the history of the area.Overall great stop!

We tasted the award winning 2017 Pinot Noir and the award winning Rose. Both were gorgeous and we would highly recommend. We also bought some fabulous Pinot wine glasses to enjoy the wine we bought later.

Friendly family owned winery with excellent wines, as they seem to win many medals but aren’t too showy. Great examples of this central Otago sub region.
