Unfortunately the Casino has been shut down due to financial reasons indefinitely. It is a monstrous building right in town which now has displaced workers protesting in front

Unfortunately the casino is closed due to bankruptcy. The whole town is funded by this casino and the workers have set up a tent village and are protesting to have it reopened. The casino employs over 500 people of the 2000 residents. Very sad story for the people who live and worked here. I hope they can get their jobs back.

The casino has a very impressive building inside campione area. But starting from the entreance , casino employers and the enviroment inside the casino was like a retirement house.3 floor huge casino without any motivating enviroment.

Awful ugly embarrassment
Dec 2017 • Couples
We had to register with our passports to enter. We only wanted to look at the inside and restaurant. Took 20 minutes! Pathetic attempt at a casino. Voted the largest casino in europe but by no means the best. It is horrendously ugly from the outside and an eyesore for the beautiful views. This architect should be embarrassed. Structurally it doesnt work well either. Long staircases to nowhere.
Awful. Very bad idea

High expectations, but it was a let-down
Oct 2017 • Friends
I had heard that this is the biggest casino in Europe so my expectations were pretty high. My visit turned out to be kind of a let-down. Countless slot machines but not that many table games, lack of amenities, the food at the snack bar was bad and overpriced and the staff wasn't that friendly (it was snobish, I'd say) and sometimes they didn't even speak English. Too bad for its fame and the significant building.

It was okay as far as casinos go. Nice to visit if you are in the area for other things. The staff was very nice

How do you find the entrance?
Aug 2017 • Couples
Designed by the famous architect Mario Botta, one of Europe's most over rated architects, the size and shape of the building is just down right more than ugly, it does not inspire fun or enjoyment and basically has no personality to share, the entrances are hidden and pokey and the outside is just grubby. Once inside you are (not) greeted by staff that really could not care less. Most disappointing.

Lots of table games, staff usually unfriendly
Sep 2016 • Friends
The casino di campione is the biggest casino in Europe and indeed they have plenty of slot machines and tables. Also the variety of table games provided is very nice, here you can still play games like Trente et Quarante, Chemin de Fer and Craps, actually one of the very few places in Europe where you can play Craps. The Craps crew is the only very friendly bunch of employees in this casino. The croupiers and especially the managers are usually very unfriendly and seem to have never heared the word 'customer service'. Also they have no idea of table games management - the Black Jack tables are usually filled with customers, yet they won't open another one. Extremely unfriendly and showing a typical Italian 'the customer is NOT king' attitude are also the receptionists and the people working at the wardrobe.
Good is that the entrance and parking is free!

Not very exciting. Everyone in there seemed depressed, workers were borderline rude. Some fun slots though :-)
