I had no time to go inside, but spent 1.5 hours wandering around the gardens. Lots to discover, peacocks and squirrels, fountains, follies, old chapels, grottos, serpentine paths, and so on. There's a cafe on the river side of the complex.

This is a beautiful, huge, well-kept palace. You cannot see a lot inside because there are some institue offices; still, there is an exhibition to see. But outside there is a beautiful garden with a fountain and peacocks walking by - fantastic! What is really...More

This would not appear to be a palace from the exterior. Its construction is fairly modern, and it is bright yellow in color. The center area has a large reflective pool with benches on which you can relax and feed one or more of the...More

The palace and park complex is quite famous in Poland - the first Polish museum was founded here. Unfortunately that was a long time ago. The most of the palace is a research institute now, there are only a few rooms with the remains of...More

One of the reviewers wrote that there is only 1 room to see in the museum. Actually there are extra 2 floors to see with interesting exhibits including a sarcophagus with Copernicus's remains (probably fake). Many artefacts but you need to know a bit of...More

I enjoyed my visit to this historic palace located in Pulawy, Poland. In addition to serving as the seat of the National Research Institute, a significant area of this palace serves as a museum. The grounds are impressive. This is a popular place. Persons interested...More

The palace houses several institutes, and since a couple of years an exhibit with belongings of the Cartoryski family. Interesting building and objects. I specially liked the cast iron stairs, replacing the wooden ones after a fire. Was the only visitor....
