You will need deep pockets - NOT because the products are expensive, but because there are so many choices, and things just jump into your trolley because you just have to have them. The grounds are wonderful for a woodland walk, and you can finish...More

Yes, the gardens are beautiful. However, having been purchasing my plants, shrubs and trees over many years, recently I was bitterly disappointed with the attitude of one of the members of staff (I have never encountered this difficulty before). Their goods are expensive, yes, but...More

We spent too long here and had to kill time before the coach left. (See Flatford Mill review). A pleasant place, a nice walk and peaceful.

Really different feel to the place with a wide range of different plants on show. Reasonably priced. Nice little area indoors and out to finish your visit with something to eat and drink, again sensibly priced.

Visited The place for plants for morning coffee. A lovely lady call Lyn served us and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her. Even to sorting out a very weak coffee. Her smile was genuine and she was such pleasant lady.

Top marks for opening the garden centre grounds to allow the public to view the fly past. Great garden centre and cafe. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We have been using this nursery for years, lots of years and it has only improved with time. They are always listed as suppliers of 'different plants' and almost always have them in their nursery. Dont expect all the gizmos of a garden centre, although...More

Wonderful nursery, very wide range and good quality. Good coffee and cakes. The highlight was the garden, which made a lovely stroll around with large trees giving shade on a hot day. Highly recommended.

The Garden & Arboretum are amazing. Although our timing was just right for the Magnolias, Rhododendrons and 'Handerchief' tree. There were well planted borders, a number of different trees and bushes which I could not recognise. A wander through the gardens is a welcome relief.

yes they have a cafe next to their garden shop. We did not have lunch, but we did have cake and a coffee which we ate outside in the sunshine. It was a beautiful place to sit - next to all their plants for sale.
