I was so happy to see this unique place with historical mills still alive and working. When you are there you can ask the old man Ahmad to turn on one of the mills and see how it works. Its amazing.

This place is wonderful,you will become surprised when see this engineering masterpiece was made in ancient age. Unfortunately I was there at night and couldn’t get good photoes,but if you watch the photoes,you will tend to see there!!

This is the no. 1 reason to come to this dusty hot town close to the iraqi border. We lingered here a while, had tea with a local guide stationed there and paid a bit extra for the sluice to get opened with a photo...More

These ancient roman built hydraulic mills are a definite must see. It's absolutely amazing how clever and intelligently they were built, resisting the inclemencies of time. There are guides who can well explain all details such as dates, periods, what was done and how. Best...More

This is a nice site for historical water engineering.Fantastic ancient Engineering unbelievable Structure from years and years ago” this place is a world cultural heritage site with beautiful landscape. it is worth to go down to the site.
