Say yes to the day pass!
Jun 2021
If you're not staying at the Mayan Princess you can still enjoy their great facilities by buying a day pass. My friends and family stayed in Sandy Bay and made the 15 minute journey to the Mayan Princess many times during our two-week stay because we were treated so well, loved the pools, and the beach is breathtaking. We ate great food at the restaurants and the mixed drinks were delicious. Even if you aren't staying in West Bay consider a day (or two or three) at the Mayan Princess. You'll be glad you did.

$100 for 2 hours - meh! Beach is beautiful though BRING CASH
Nov 2019
We came with the intention of just enjoying the beach for a couple of hours, having an elderly member of our party and a 6 year old. They charged us $20 per person for this, and it didn't include anything other than a chair and use of the pool & bathroom. The beach is beautiful, provide you want to get in the water, or stay further from the shore to avoid the constant barrage of peddlers. ALSO, they said they could take cards, but NO, we had to go back and forth from lobby to beach hut a couple times because they couldn't take anything other than CASH, and we had to use their lobby ATM.

Mayan Princess beach all inclusive

Beautiful beach,water amazing,Food was good!
Huge problem was all the local venders peddling hair braiding and massages .Several reviews saying just a polite "no thank you" would have them leave you alone was not our experience. The army of massage women were litterally climbing through our beach chair rows ,fighting over who asked us first ,cursing each other out about "getting in her money" . Relentless . Only out in the water was the place to get away from them.I have the one that said I was "her man" $5 to leave me alone .

Ask for Wilmer
Apr 2019 • Family
We hung out on the beach and had lunch/drinks here almost every day of our stay. Wimer was the best - he took care of us, was really pleasant and attentive. The beach was great here and it was very relaxing. Wilmer made it the best place to hang out!

Drinks on the beach!
We did not stay at the resort, but we sat in their chairs each day and ordered drinks! The staff was very accommodating with umbrellas and quick to get drinks for us. Junior specifically was very sweet and helpful.

Not a lot for the money

We bought day passes here which gave us access to the pool and beach chairs but that's it. Not even towels are included in the price. On the bright side our waiter was fantastic and the drinks and food are pretty good. The pool is nice and the grounds are well kept.

Great place with attentive staff

We came here via an excursion company that was awful, but the actual resorts are great. It seems that there are 3 right together that share everything. Sadly the WiFi was down while we were there. We had to pay extra to use one of the other resorts. The food was good. I especially enjoyed the fried fish and one of the desserts. The drinks were good also. I would do this again but not through Roatan Excursions.

What a great place to spend the day. We were in Roatan during a Carnival cruise and booked a day pass - all inclusive while in port. The beach is beautiful - good was good and can't get a better view! We would come back again without hesitation.
