Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Wharf Gallery is a place we visit regularly, especially when family and friends come to Raglan. Alongside Soul Shoes and Steve's cafe, you can catch up on recent artwork by local artists as well as quite a few from around the North Island.
The current exhibition is by two noted Pacifica artists, Sefton Rani and Marcus Hipa. You'll also see work by Jeff Thomson, Bruce McLachlan and Lyndy Wilson.

Recommend the Sunset Cruise and shops on the Wharf. Food available at several venues. Easy walking distance from Raglan Holiday Park.

Nice place to go for lunch and a stroll along the wharf, looking in the pottery shop and leather shop. If you are a fisherman this is a great place to chuck a line in.

During our recent visit to Raglan, Waikato, NZ we found the Raglan Warf restaurant. We liked that the entire menu is available all day, since we like to eat breakfast later in the day. We enjoyed our first visit so much that returned there a couple more times later during our vacation.

Have visited recently, and have lovely experience. A beautiful water view, tranquil, and enjoy it with Fish n Chip from the shop and coffee from a small coffee roaster on the wharf. Some of visitors doing a fishing also. Some other shops are also on this wharf and a famous cafe is at the road nearby. Happy visitors with yummy fish n chips.

A great spot for a browse! There’s an art gallery, beautiful Tony Sly pottery and other homewares, leather shop as well as coffee and great fish and chips or takeaway fresh fish to cook at home. Of course if you enjoy fishing, it’s a popular location for that!

Had a wander around Raglan wharf - its a great little place with lovely shops and cafes. Love the Tony Sly shop, didn't realise they made on site until I wanted around the back to the coffee place

Lots of kids fishing off the wharf

WE were travelling in our motorhome and staying in the camp ground and exploring Raglan on our bikes. We enjoyed biking out to the Wharf and had coffee at the cafe there. The wharf is so interesting with it's history, the silo accomodation development, and the buildings on the wharf. We even met the resident seal who lives around there, the locals all know it, but i can't remember it's name! Do visit.

Very nice spot for fish and chips or just a coffee. Couple of nice shops there as well, bit of a walk to get there but nice just to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. Raglan town a bit too Bohemian for us, but still enjoyed our stay.

You can’t visit harbour-side Raglan without visiting the wharf.
A ten or so minute walk or a couple of mins by car gets you to the wharf where you can explore a few shops (Tony Sly is glory is if you’re into that kind of thing) and/or have a meal at the fish and chippery or a fancier looking place I’ve never been to AND/OR don’t spend any dollars and enjoy the views of the water and boats.
