An easy walk from Bow street to the combined Visitor Centre and Museum. Well placed displays involving major Raglan families, as well as the history of the museum. Lots of surfing memorabilia and pictures. Good research centre with lots of photos on the computer.

Very well laid-out, with interesting exhibits. There was an exhibition of surfing upstairs which was most appropriate for this surf capital of Need Zealand. How boards have changed!

ANZAC display is great as is the surfing exhibit. This museum is well worth a visit for the small $2 fee.

Lots of interesting history here - from surfing to golf course wars. And lots of information about the men in the area who gave their lives in the two world wars

Small museum and a great value for money activity - only $2 entry for interesting insight into Raglan's history. Recommend spending some time watching the short clips you can watch on the computers. The surfing exhibition was the highlight.
