We were a group of five with different levels of fitness. It is an easy walk (10mins) to the first two viewing platforms, then 135 steps to the platform in the middle and 261 steps to the bottom. Even members of our group with lower...More

Bridal Veil Falls was my first stop after getting settled into my accommodations in New Zealand, as it was basically next door to where I stayed. The walking path is very well maintained and easy to traverse to the top of the falls. There are...More

This was a treat, a short walk through the bush to see the beautiful falls. The only thing that was a negative was the people in tour buses :(

Only a short drive out of the town centre, with 4 different viewing platforms and a lovely walk through the forests this is a definite must do in Raglan. Fairly easy walk, the last 2 viewing platforms do require you to go down and back...More

A dark, quiet rainforest surrounds this natural wonder. The initial walk to the top of the falls is only 10 minutes. A few more minutes' walk takes you to the upper viewing platform (best overall view). Then if you're feeling ambitious (and fit), you can...More

This is quite a decent waterfall, dropping about 50 metres into a pool. Some would call it spectacular, and it is quite impressive, but there are far bigger and wider waterfalls elsewhere in the world. The walk is quite steep from the top to the...More

Well worth the detour out of Raglan. Take a bite to eat and enjoy the view over lunch or snacks. quite a trek back up but worth it.

Well worth a visit and a definite must if you can manage stairs to go to the bottom and look up at the falls. Easy walk to the top with the two viewing platforms

As others have said, it is a short track, but it depends on your fitness level as to how long it would take. You could easily do it within 30 minutes, but could allow longer for just enjoying. Enjoy!
