this bush reserve and picnic area is right on the outskirts of Raglan but hardly ever used. Its a really peaceful walk along the river and up into the hills behind. There are picnic tables dotted around and room for kids to run and play....More

This is a beautifully maintained and cared for walking and biking track. Wake to the to and across the feild then you can walk down the track to the beach. Amazing views from the top. There is a map on a board near the carpark....More

Absolutely gorgeous view and can walk down along the rocks and jump into the surf from here. Would recommend coming here for a picnic - when it isn't so windy !

Was a gorgeous sunny day for a tiki tour, ended up in Raglan, visited Whale Bay, then went to Wainui Reserve. Great place to access the beach, with lifeguards still on patrol (west coast beaches can be dangerous if you don't know them). Amazing views...More
