A good domain/park area, with nice spots for picnics, etc. A short walk along to the beach gives a great view of the beach and Raglan

It seemed to be a very popular place for the locals. Nice to take a walk and even let the kids play around. In the playground there was even a surfing board to let the kids to practise balancing on it--quite impressed!

It's a recreational area with playground (partly being refurbished when I visited) and fields. Some boating facilities. Clearly popular. Nice views toward town, and an alternative pedestrian route toward the west. I had fun snapping the pedestrian bridge at dusk with my phone.

A great place to wander and chill. Very popular with the locals who can be found swimming and jumping off the bridge. A great spot for a picnic.
