About
We run private and public habour cruises. Our boat Wahinemoe is a 2 story catamaran with a maximum capacity of 70 people. She tours within the safe areas of Raglan’s historical Whaingaroa Raglan Harbour. There are 120kms of coastline planted with more than 2 million trees planted during a 25 year conservation program. Limestone (pancake rocks) cliffs and towers on the northern shores can only be seen from the water and from our upper deck the views are even more stunning. The captain and crew provide authentic tales, myths and history of the local people and early settlers. We are fully licensed and provide f&b catering for all services, often popular is the fresh 'fish n chips' delivered directly to the boat from the raglan fish market and prepared meals from the Wharf Kitchen. For much of the year we idle Wahinemoe in the throat of the harbour where it meets the Tasman sea and observe amazing sunsets. We offer a very relaxing tour for all ages and physical abilities.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A cloudy evening didn’t spoil the fun for our teams Christmas event. Many thanks to Barlow and crew for a entertaining, informative cruise around the Raglan Harbour. We have lived in the Waikato region all our lives but this was a first to see and learn about local landmarks from the water. Highly recommend

It was a lovely couple of hours. I didn't realise harbour was so large. Interesting talk accompanied trip. Kids on-board got to drive boat and get photo taken. Captain and staff very approachable.

Such a great trip! The fish and chips were so fresh, and being able to have a glass of wine or beer topped it off nicely! Not the greatest evening for one of the spectacular sunsets, but still wonderful. The history of the area was super interesting and to learn how the boats navigate across the ocean bar into the harbour was fascinating. The staff were amazing and knowledgeable. Totally recommend this trip! We will be back again, hopefully in better weather for one of those gorgeous sunsets.

Great all round! Beautiful scenery, double rainbows, glassy waters, Sunset, lots of history told about the area. Great service and super nice people that own and work on the boat, felt looked after and felt safe as we had children. it was a perfect Mother’s Day gift.

Our family group loved the whole experience and were especially impressed by the stories told which just made the interesting scenery so meaningful. The boat is comfortable, travelling smoothly on a less-than-perfect day, with indoor seating when it showered, also sheltered upper deck seating. The birds accompanying us intrigued my grandchildren who also loved having a turn at being the captain. A lovely day trip I'd highly recommend for locals as well as visitors. Thanks so much!
