The number 1 walk in Sao Jorge. We left our car at Faja dos cubres. There is a little cafe and she will call a taxi for you to take you to Serra di Topa. (€17). The walk is well signposted all the way down....More

the description from the guide does not reflect the beauty and the color of this place. unearthly views of the vastness of the ocean. the colors of sky, water and nature are a feast for the eye and soul

The views were amazing from the vista points! Bring binoculars to give you a closer look from afar. Unfortunately, we were unable to hike down to Cubres but if you are able the locals told us it's worth the journey.
