The main cathedral was under renovation when we visited. However, the lower chapel was open. It's an interesting octagonal sanctuary. Very dark and old but with modern touches. There's a great view from the back piazza.

This is a very impressive Cathedral but wont take long to view it as there is very little to view within it , however at the entrance if you pay 1 Euro the lights in the Dome will illuminate for 15 Minutes and at night...More

At this time of the year parking is readily available close to the sites .plenty of pay as you park spaces
