Nice beach, very organized. Seats and shades paid for. One thing missing were more restaurants open to eat something out of lunch time.

Nice clean beach, beautiful water, super easy to access and only 5 min walk from the train station. Pretty much all locals were on the beach. Two chairs and umbrella were 34 euros.

This beach is a half-hour train ride from Rome (train ticket cost us EUR 4,6 from Termini station, one-way). I read some reviews that it is too crowded on a summer weekend, but even on a mid-September weekday, there were plenty of people (even children,...More

It is a beautiful beach to spend you day by the sun. It is clean, not too crowed, the water is delicious and clean. You have to rent a ombrellone and chair if you want (10 euros each). But i recommend to.

I was not going to pass up a chance to swim in the Med! One son and I took the train from Trastevere-8 Euro round-trip. There are several private beach clubs you can rent from...not sure why we picked this one but they all seem...More

Wanted a beach day as part of a cruise stop in Civitavecchia and S. Marinella is ideal if you want to go to the beach - if you have done Rome before. The beach is sandy ( unlike the rocky, pebbly one in Civitavecchia) but note...More

After 7 days in Rome and a loooooot of walking, we decided to end our trip in Italy with a day at the beach. Santa Marinella was the right pick for us. Our apartment was walking distance to Termini, 4.60€ and an hour later we...More

We found the beach pleasant, but crowded. However, the service was atrocious - having a staff member yelling at us that the seats we were using were reserved (without any marking whatsoever) but only AFTER collecting payment. We had a much better time up north...More
