Absolutely stunning winery with friendly, informative guides and, most importantly, delicious wine! The four course wine pairing lunch was amazing and the winery was one of the most memorable parts of my entire trip to Italy.

I had seen the reviews here and decided to book a 7 course lunch with wine. I had high expectations and Marrone winery managed to surpass them. Each course was served with a wine pairing- 2 whites and 6 reds- you read that right- it was actually 8 courses. Plan on a 3 hour event- we chose to do it for our first full day in Barolo after arriving yesterday. So glad we did- as it allowed us a relaxed afternoon to acclimate and taste Chardonnay, Barbera,Barbaresco and Barolo. The staff were attentive, the food was great and of course the wine was incredible. I can’t say enough good things and encourage you to visit with them!

What an experience! Restaurant with a panoramic view over the vineyards. Good wines, good food, good service for a very reasonable price.

We visited Barola yesterday and decided having had a good look around to have lunch in La Morra We literally stumbled into this place and how lucky was that On entering the lady explained that they were not a ordinary restaurant but rather a wine tasting experience with food We were shown up to the tasting room which had the most incredible view of the surrounding countryside We choose the four course option which was 20 euros and consisted of four small plates with wine and brilliant explanation The food was fresh and delicious the wine gorgeous and the explanation professional knowledgeable and friendly We finished with expresso and liquor and bought some good wine Thank you Marrone we felt lucky to have wandered in hope you enjoy your holiday time We will return next year

We did a wine tasting at marrone, tried about 7 or 8 wines which all were good. They provide the wine tasting with Some good local food. Portions a little too big but we enjoyed the afternoon at the wonderful terrace. Great people but can be a little bit more with knowledge of the wines. Definately recommended to visit
