Dont buy your ticket anywhere EXCEPT inside the air conditioned large terminal building in Dar Es Salaam.

Terrible touts and very pushy locals telling you tons of stories of closing hours, new windows, buy here, buy there, let me take your bags, ferry is full etc. Head inside and buy the "cheap" Economy ticket to Zanzibar. Its a lovely ride. Stay close...More
