Unlike anything I have ever seen it is beautiful and unique. The gardens offer what I would say a crafted Forrest with very nice tree lines and photo ops. But make sure you bring mosquito repellent

Take a guide who leads you to the most important areas of the garden. Alone you wouldn't understand the spieses etc.

it has very old trees and unique variety of plants. Love the lotus pond. Also noticed there were hundreds of bats on the tree above. Place worth visiting while in mauritius

The botanic garden is a great chance to see a wide range of plants, primarily trees. Take your repellant or buy one at the ticket office. There are myriads of moskitos.
