About
Driving further into the valley, you will cross a bridge over a canyon and reach another parking lot. The marked trail to Gorsabrua starts here (1,8 km) and this walk is easy. Lamb are eating grass in the trench and there is a full view over the...more

We parked up the hill, from there you can follow a very easy trail of 2km that will lead you to the bridge and canyon. We had the place all to ourselves, around 6pm. It was one of our highlights, beautiful and wild, the bridge...More

If don’t want to do the long hike tour uphill, I recommend driving to the closest point and walk only 1.5 km. This is a beautiful and fairly easy walk. We passed a flock of sheep along the way. The views of the waterfall and...More

The bridge over the deepest canyon in northern Europe offers a breathtaking view down to the canyon. The private road up to the parking places is terrible with a normal car like VW Passat, but if you drive carefully it's doable. The walk from the...More

I recommend the walk through the old mining site. The climb is bit more demanding, but still an easy one. The view over the canyon is well worth it.

The bridge is very near nice. The view to both the canyon and the waterfall are excellent. Really worth a detour and the walk of less the 2KM. Easy walk. I saw a family with young children and a stroller for the baby.

We made this an evening walk form the top car park but you can do a longer walker form the lower car park too. The site is simply stunning. A waterfall plunges 150 feet into a narrow canyon as the bridge crosses it. You can...More

Gorsa Bridge and canyon is a must do for anybody visiting the Tromso, Norway area. It does require a little navigation ability to find this magnificent place. A marked secondary road leads up the beautiful Kafjorddalen Valley from the town of Birtavarre, Norway. The road...More
