This is a beautiful place but the amount of rubbish and plastics strewn about the cliff tops particularly around the shop/cafe area is both upsetting and disappointing. Visiting these places to see the scenery and sea birds is spoilt by this rubbish particularly in view...More

Good landmark for the area We walked with our dogs from Thornwick Bay to Flamborough lighthouse and beyond. We could see the lighthouse from our caravan lighting up ther area at night which was wonderful to see. Beautiful old building of historical interest.

Stunning place to visit in all seasons and weather. North and South Landing are also with a visit. The caffe at Flamborough head is a bit on the expensive but nice to sit outside weather permitting. Plenty of parking but it is pay and display.

we didn't visit the lighthouse itself, but the views you have from there are just overwhelming. You can clearly see how erosion is changing the landscape. Gaps in the cliffs will in due time break part of the cliff away and form a small island.

We parked in the car park and had hot chocolate in the cafe/restaurant. The best bit was the walk up to the lighthouse and up and along the cliffs. Such a spectacular view. Wish I’d taken my binoculars so I could have seen the birds...More

Yes very rocky underfoot and would definitely need a blanket to sit on.

No but from memory I recall they are closing in June for repainting. Check first on their website maybe to avoid disappointment. Have a good time.
