We visited kaslo and took the time to visit the SS Moyie. The cost for entry was 12.50 per adult. The restoration and history of the vessel was incredible. If you have never been in a railway caboose you can see inside one as well....More

Made a point to drive up from Nelson to see this. Had seen it from the outside previously. Incredibly well preserved and set up nicely for self guided tour. What an Era that was.

A long way up rom Nelson, but worth the trip. The drive alone is worth the trip. Beautiful vistas f Kootenay Lake. Then in Kaslo, a great restoration and tribute to the shipbuilding industry of this tiny Kootenai town.
