Not a large fall, but just off the main road with carpark and stop for food and local food. You can also pay to fish for trout!

As far as waterfalls go, the Joren no Taki falls is not spectacular. However, it is full of charm and makes a worthwhile stop. Firstly, there is a free car park located by the falls. Convenience shops and fast food are at the car park....More

We decided to stop by and do this hike/walk to see one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls. This was a nice little hike and got to try some wasabi treats at the bottom. Great view of the falls as well.

You'll have to take a cab from Shuzhenji but its well worth it. The waterfall is pristine. Wild wasabi grows in the water which is filled with trout.
