Visit Iwaki, visit "Wonder farm" You will enjoy tomato picking, quite new experience in Japan, on weekends and holidays throughout the year. You can pick a bagful of our 9 kinds of hydroponic cultured tomatoes. We have restaurant, direct sales market, and BBQ site and more activities. At our restaurant, "Mori no kitchen" (kitchen in the woods), we have menus to satisfy tomato-lovers' appetite. For lunch, buffet of our freshly picked tomatoes and over 30 dishes. We also have Pizzas for take-away too. For dinner, steaks, pastas, and pizzas and more. At our direct sales market, "Mori no marché" (market in the woods), you find our house brand tomato Specialties, such as fresh tomato juice, tomato dressing, tomato jam, tomato pasta sauce and anything TOMATO. We also have selected products of Fukushima, fresh vegetables from local farmers, freshly baked pa-tisserie and more. We have our popular BBQ, "just bring yourselves & BBQ" . This place looks and feels like a tourist trap. But, there aren't the usual endless stalls trying to get your money. There is a tomato themed buffet restaurant which is OK. There is also a shop selling locally grown/made goods. Again, reasonably priced. There are...More
