Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

St Valery sur Somme is a great town which is complimented by this small museum. I am surprised that they have packed so much it a small area.
Whilst people might complain it is all in french. I have worked in a museum in the UK where it is all in english, but certain exhibits need no explanation, they are visual.
The great thing here also is that there are sound effects in all the areas, which is great for the children.
This is our 3rd visit and we are still noticing things we missed on previous visits.
PS. There are toilets here too, always a bonus in France.

We went for just something to do. We had to pay €5.90 for just a short walk around . All the desplays were in french but was easy enough to follow what was going on. Not much there. Not a very friendly welcome as she didn't understand that we were English. Not a very good.

The museum was interesting, but it was all in French which was quite annoying. There needed to be some people to help you around the place I thought. The figures and recreations were good, though.

Whilst everything was in French, they are mainly visual displays which need no explaining. It is a recreated Picardy 19th century village, with all the different shops and trades ,very detailed
Much bigger than it looks, with an excellent small gift shop with souvenirs very much from the local area.
