We had cycled from Le Crotoy to Saint Valery and this was perfect for our return trip. We were able to store our bikes in one of the carriages. The train journey took about an hour. The only downside was that it was very crowded....More
The Locals love this train with a passion.
Dogs children and passers by stop and line up to wave,
you feel like The Queen.
It all very good natured though some resentment is caused when
groups of English Day Trippers get reserved carriages.
For those people who like a trip down memory lane or experience a little bit of history, this is a lovely tartly, steam train ride through beautiful countryside. There are all classes of carriages, and we hopped onto 3rd class - it was beautifully restored.
