The fortress is under reconstruction, and is impressiv standing at the edge of river Njestr.
The small museum is somehow interesting, and the view from the walls and the towers is ok. You can easily spend an hour here, before or after visiting Tiraspol.

Me and friend visited the fortress as part of Oleg tours. It was very muddy and as others have mentioned the surrounding area is quite ugly with an abandoned factory and Transnistrian army tanks.
