Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I loved seeing how orthodox monks lived in their community. I am a practicing Christian so maybe more interesting to me than others. But I find there way of life peaceful and spiritual and interesting. There’s not that much to do there and it’s quite a short trip but it’s something I’d never seen before and really loved the insight. I wish they could have given us a tour though or told us a bit more. The monks keep themselves to themselves and smile mostly

Located in a bend before going down to the panorama above the shipwreck beach. Presence of parking. The monastery served as a refuge for monks during attacks by pirates or Turks. Do not hesitate to enter the enclosure and the chapel (wooden stalls).

It is a small pocket monastery located near the most visited beach on the island. There is a small chapel. A peaceful and calm place. An interior courtyard. Several residents.
