Walked up to church through old part of town, past the castle. Excellent views from this place of the town, beach, and estuary. Paid 1.5€ to go into the church - worth it for the magnificent altars and the marble tombs. Could have done with...More

Though simple on the outside, this church is quite beautiful and peaceful inside. It's located along the camino to Santiago, the route that the pilgrims take. Outside of the church there are nice views of the countryside. Well worth a visit!

There is so much history that you are best to have a Spanish guide with you or else you may miss out on the story behind the buildings .

Beautiful church which is worth the walk up the hill. Very ornate at the front, with gold covered carvings. We visited on Easter Sunday and there was some lovely singing happening; young people dressed in sailor uniforms singing and playing the tambourine towards the Madonna....More

The church is located on the top of the hill, so to visit it you need to walk up from anywhere, typically close to the castle. The church itself is worth a visit, but also because of the views.

On the top of the hill in the Medieval heart of San Vincente. It is worth the climb, or cycle. The views are stunning and the whole monument peaceful. The small E1.50 entrance fee goes to support the maintenance of the building. The interior of...More
