Firstly there is no no car park. We used a side road nearby.

Took the grandkids there in Feb....4 and 7. The park is far better than anything we have in Swansea..with pirate ship, sand pit, balancing blocks, slides, climbing walls etc. Well thought out. Also, in the summer months, there`s a large , rectangular paddling pool..result! We...More
The park this sits in is a favourite with children and dog walker - used constantly by the locals - very friendly. The museum has collections of local artefacts and a range of portraits. Worth a visit if you are nearby
Having left Llanelli many years ago, i thought i would pay Parc Howard a visit (especially as i had my wedding pictures taken there).

The Park is in the news a great deal at the moment as the public are fighting to keep it open as it was a gift to the people of Llanelli by the Stepney-Howard family. The council wanted to sell it to private developers but now it has had a reprieve and there seem to be some plans now to update it and keep it in the public domain. It is a beautiful park and if you are lucky you will see the squirrels coming down the trees to pinch the bread being fed to the ducks in their pond. There are plenty of places to explore with there being two play areas suitable for children of all ages. I hope you have a great time there.
