While we stayed in Ermones the sea was very rough with an on shore breeze coming into the beach which made entry and exit fro the water difficult . The beach is more pebble than sand and very narrow .

Ermones is a very small bay in the west coast of Corfu, around the middle of the island from north to south. The area is green and it has a kind of porous white stone everywhere. The area has a few restaurants (2-3), one pub...More

We visited to have lunch at a Taverna overlooking the beach. The hotels dominate the landscape and the beach area is tiny. The water was red in spots either due to algal bloom or seaweed. I was unsure what it was but no way were...More

It is a beautiful fairly unspoiled bay on the west side of the island with deep crystal clear sea. It is never very crowded not even in high season.

It's a very stony beach really hard to walk on. This stopped me going in the sea which I was looking forward to. The views though all around were spectacular.

Safe for swimming unless local guidance warns about currents. 2 LOCAL TAVERNS and one cafe associated with Grand Mediteraneo Hotel. Water can be cold because this beach is on the west side of the island of Corfu.

It’s a pretty exclusive beach with only a handful of hotels near by. The bar has toilets and again is run by TUI. The beach also has access to a taverna. The man who looks after the umbrellas and loungers is very helpful and sets...More
