We were lucky with the day we arrived in the Catlins, a beautiful sunny day and a calm night. Easy walk to the lighthouse from the car park to see the sun setting in the west. Worth it. Stunning.

There is so much to see on this short walk to the light house. Seals and so many sea birds for birdwatchers. The walk is easy but the rewards are great. The islands and cliffs are picturesque.

One of the highlights of our trip for sure! bracing walk up to the lighthouse and stunning views and wildlife! this was our second visit and will not be our last. the whole experience, breath taking!

We came here with high expectations and the views from here did not disappoint, they were very beautiful. The lighthouse itself could do with a clean and was much more picturesque from a distance. If you're in the area its worth a visit.
