Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting to go and have a looks at the locals in their element. Fruits vegetables and a few handicrafts on sale. If you hv you camera on you, you do stick out here a bit.
The market runs Monday , Wednesday and Friday. Good way to pass a morning if you’re in Tanna for a few days.

We took one of island buses, for 200vuv each way, to this small but bustling market. The bananas are not what you'd expect, the fresh young coconut was cut in front of me and the milk seemed unending and delicious. We had a hot meal made there, which was cheap and tasty, and stocked up on fruity snacks for the upcoming travel. Make sure you visit!

The market was very laid back, no one hustling you to buy things and prices seemed to be the tourists as locals (prices were written on little cardboard pieces). Was nice :)

The ladies sit at these markets selling there own grown produce for a lot of the day to earn an income. Worth a quick visit to see the different seasonal produce sold and get a very local feel for Tanna. We bought a pineapple 150vt which was so juicy and natural uncooked peanuts in a bunch still attached to the header plant and roots which is a nice snack to take with you for 100vt.
