No trip to Harrington is complete until we have sampled the cheese at the village cheese shop and packed enough Stilton to last us until next time we are in Harrington.

Glad you enjoyed the cheeses you bought. It is a shame the large dairy is being demolished but we have at least opened our own (much smaller dairy) just outside the village. Sadly we can't accommodate tours there but we are at least keeping the...More

Thank you for your encouraging words. Glad you enjoyed the trip to our shop. We are continuing to work hard to keep the cheese tradition alive in Hartington.

A great little cheese shop that also stocks other local produce such as beers and preserves. Larger weights of cheese better ordered on their website as they don't always have all cheeses in the shop. Try the Dovedale blue!

This little shop has been going for years and even on a rainy Derbyshire day it draws in crowds. Accessed through a short garden/yard off the picturesque Hartington village centre, it has a vast range of cheeses produced locally and also some other specialist cheeses....More

Thank you for writing us such a lovely review! We have been trying to work out how long the shop has been open now and we think it is around 40 years. We hope you will call in again when you are next in the...More

Always make an effort to go to the cheese shop. There is so much choice and it is all so delicious. It is reasonably priced and you can sample. My favouriteson are Derbyshire blue and mango and ginger Stilton. But they are all fabulous
