We booked this trip online and were advised to be at meeting point no later than 0845. The boat did not leave the port to nearer 1000. An hour lost already. We were sitting upstairs and could not properly hear announcements to where we were. No announcements re health and safety or where toilet facilities were. Lunch was served as though we were in a line for prison and consisted of 2 pieces of pork, a spoonful of Coleslaw, 2 slices of bread and a plastic half filled cup of cheap cola. It was edible. We made 3 stops, however not close enough to get onto the beaches. We made our way back to the port and arrived back almost 20 mins early. We were lucky with the weather and managed to spot a few dolphins. Staff could have been more attentive and more interactive with guest.

Fantastic day, big boat , very spacious and not over crowded, great value for money , crew spoke English, and were very friendly . Stopped at lots of beautiful beaches and felt very safe to have a swim in the sea. Lunch was lovely, and plenty of it with a nice glass of wine. I couldn’t fault the day at all. I would definitely do it again it’s an amazing way to see the island .

The trip with the submarine on august 2024 was awful. Trip was set for 17:30 at the site of Blu sky, but started at 18:00. From 17:15 to 17:30 the crew if the boat was on the board and was acting unprofessional at least. The three man (one older and two younger) were making mean comments about the curvier women on board. Went the submarine got full they started cheking out the women as they were in swimsuits and half naked.
The worst part was that there was something spilled on board that was smelling like petrol/disel/gasoline. The crew did not tried to cleant it until on of the kids on board sliped and fell. Then the crew tried to wash it with some product but our slippers were smelling of petrol and when we left the boat.
Was year we went to the same trip with another boat of Blue sky and it was more comfortable, the captain and the crew were friendly and it was great experience.
This year the crew was awful and the experience quite unpleasent.

We booked the tickets for a quay side agent She offered us a discounted price and charged us 56E for two adults and a 17 year old. We was told to be at the boat for 830am
When we arrived we was told we had been moved to the larger boat (despite requesting the smaller boat) so we walked around to the other boat
We embarked and was challenged over the price we had paid. We argued and stood our ground, the staff stated they didn’t disagree with us but continued to question us. Eventually they agreed and we stayed. We was told the boat would leave at 0900 however it was nearly 10 before we left the port.
All was good apart from they only undertake announcements in Greek and Rumanian? We knew nothing about safety issues or life jackets.
We had a good day and disembarked at 4pm
Then the crew were running along the port, we watched the “captain” PUSH past passengers waiting to leave the boat. He ran to a neighbouring boat climbed on board uninvited and began to hit the man on the other boat. This was in front of the passengers and their young children.
TOTALLY unprofessional and not nice for children to witness.
If the captain behaves like this what would he be like in an emergency at sea??

Let’s start with the positives, food was nice and it departed on time.
Negatives, the captain had no interaction with any passengers even though he steered the boat in the middle of the boat, his missus would turn up and start kissing him every hour which was unwanted by passengers. We were meant to be going East around the Island but after a short while we turned around and headed West. We were told rough seas!! It was flat calm and no way was there any rough seas 10 miles away. As I write this review I’m looking at the sea and it’s still flat calm… anyway we went to one nice cove which you could only get to by boat but apart from that he dropped anchor twice and expected you to love swimming in the open sea… 28 euros for a trip worth 10 euros 9.30-16.00 I wish it was 9.30-12 noon.
We were bored senseless and wanted to get off, the music on repeat was rubbish and no party atmosphere was achieved. 2/10 for effort.

Did not visit any of the beaches advertised bar Notos just round the corner. Southward the weather was beautiful, so turned west/north and headed directly in cloud.
We looked on sadly as we headed into a lightening storm as the sunshine brightly to a rear, the way we were ment to go. Two 30 min stops down , and sitting in a freezing wind we turned around and sailed across Potos bay for the 3rd time, the sun returned, half of the passengers were freezing however he proceeded to sail straight past Potos a anchor at the far end of the bay on a beach u could of walked to in 15 mins,
The lunch was pickled cabbage and a kebab the fish wouldn't eat.
I'd avoid this trip and go elsewhere.

A long 11 hour cruise with small children but they kept entertained and enjoyed the frequent swimming stops and all braved the jump from the boat into the sea. They were provided only with tea-made with condensed milk- to go with their bread and jam for breakfast.
The lunch was tasty despite its appearance.
The scenery was beautiful.
Fortunately it was a calm day but it was still a little choppy in some sections.
We even witnessed a marriage proposal on an adjacent private yacht while moored in a bay.
The children's highlight was seeing father Christmas on his holidays on the boat!!!!!
The sunset was AMAZING.
The lunch was tasty despite its appearance.

Really enjoyed our day on Blue Sky smaller boat.
The crew were friendly and very helpful. Spoke in English and made the day really relaxing.
The lunch was very tasty along with a glass of wine.
Thought that it was going to be crowded but we sat down stairs and there was plenty of room.
There were 3 swim stops from the boat so possibly not suitable for those who want to moor and get off the boat.
It was good to be able to see Giola without having to trek down a load of stones.
One thing that I would mention is the stop at Alyki, the crew can take you over on the motor boat but you have to negotiate climbing rocks which wouldn't be suitable for the less able.

For the Captain of Thassos Cruises Blue Sky 1
This is a business review. Business in also about public image, much more than just about the line of business you run (cruises).
If you dont care about environment and other people by letting your loud and smelly diesel engine run for 3 hours (till 23:30!) in a public port full with other boats people onboard and complaining about this, tells much about your business.
And even when addressed directly by a kind and friendly phone call by my neighbours, replying rude and harshly that you dont care and other boats should leave if not liking this, tells very much how you run your business and what kind of person you are. I would never do business with a company and management like this.
And do you really think that jumping on my boat - unauthorized, illegally and against my will - would make any difference? By threating me to remove my comment, spitting on my face (are you a child???) and getting physical! Seriously? A person with such anger issues and violent charachter should really not be a captain of a tourist boat full of people and children. Please, get some help!

We really enjoyed our time aboard Blue Sky. The ship sails at 9:30am from Potos and returns at around 4pm. The cost is very reasonable at €25 euros per person, this includes 3 swimming stops, breakfast, lunch and 1 drink of your choice (alcoholic or non alcoholic). The captain is very nice and friendly and so are the rest of the crew on board. We would recommend this trip / boat to anybody wanting to go around the island of Thassos. Thank you for a wonderful time.
