About
Cat Ba Island is the second biggest island in Vietnam after Phu Quoc Island located in the South of Vietnam. And this is the largest island among thousands of island around Ha Long area. The island has few fishing villages as well as a fast growing town. It is very famous for the natural beauty as well as the rare and endangered animals- flying squirrel and golden headed langurs.

Went for 2 days 1 night cruise with my friends. The experience was awesome. The first day was a bit touristy but the night and the second day wasn’t touristic so we loved it.
The food was good (lots of seafood though but they made vegetarian food because lot of us were vegetarian)
Our guide Mr Duke was a very good guide and an awesome person. We are glad we met him. The room on the boat was perfect. One of the best we had during our Vietnamese trip.

We had 2 great days kayaking and swimming in the beautiful Lan Ha Bay. The trip was very nice because the locations chosen for the tour are very peaceful and not crowded. The group was small so we could enjoy. The food on board was very good. A special thanks to our guide, Kay! He gave us a lot of information about the bay and answered all our question. Very kind and friendly. Also very nice that we had the chance to go kayaking/swimming at night to see the zoo plancton

We had a great 2 day tour through Han La and Ha Long Bay with our guide Huy. We visited lits of different places away from all the tourists. The food was super tasty and to stay on a floating homestay was a nice experience. At night we saw the lightening plankton and our way back to Cat Ba we even saw the very rare monkeys climbing ok the rocks. We highly recommend tis tour to everybody who doesn't want to swim in crowded bays and wants to take a unique tour in a small group.

Great day with Huy as our guide. We were able to book onto the tour the evening before and still get picked up from our hostel at 7:45am. The day included a cruise through the scenery including the southern side of Ha Long bay, kayaking through the caves and lagoons, swimming and snorkelling, lunch on the boat and a visit to the fishing farm/ village.
All in all a great day!

Amazing boat tour around the Ha Long bay and islands, one of the most wonderful place in the world.
Great views, swim, kayaking and visit to the local fish farm.
The lunch on boat was great, with fresh fish and oyster, really amazing!
Our guide Kay was so prepared and enthusiastic, explained us everything about the islands and the local way to live.
I absolutely recommend to everyone!

It was briliant.
The guide was the best. We went around in the boat, then we did a small tour in kayak, where we saw incredible landscape. Then swam and ate excelent food. Finaly we swam on to the sandy shores, where we enjoyed the hot water.
I can only recomend this tour!

We had wonderful experience. We did the 3 days/2 nights tour, one night sleeping in fisherman village and one night sleeping on the boat. We really enjoyed the trip. Our guide, Kay, was great, very attentive and helpful and explained us a lot of things about life in Vietnam. We highly recommend it!

This tour was brilliant, well organised, and it took us to one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, Lan ha bay. Everyone flocks to halong but this is quieter and has less pollution but equally stunning. A small group, a fabulous guide, captain and chef. The kayaking was great and the food was amazing and plentiful. Kay, our guide was very friendly and open about life in cat ba and Vietnam. He is an exceptional tour guide.
I got sunstroke towards the end of the trip and everyone in the company looked after me so well, especially Kay. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.

I highly recommend this tourist office! I chose a trip around the bays and watching the glowing plankton. the experience was amazing, this also applies to the guide Ha, he was telling all the details and answering all the questions. really worth! other trips are cheaper but very crowded, Ha took us to intimate and beautiful places, and I could admire the plankton in peace and quiet with my wife. Decide while few people know about such trips.

(You should have a look at Moon calendar (Lunar calendar) to decided when you start the trip)

Hello I will be in CatBa next Monday and I'm very interested in doing a one day trip with you. However there is a little issue because we must be in hai phong for our night trip bus to ha giang. So is it possible to pick me up in cat ba and drop me off in haiphong.

Dear sir/madam,
Thank you so much for paying attention to our services! It's available for you to take part in our boat trip for one day. Our trip will be departed at 8AM and ended around sunset (5PM) for the next month. So if you do the trip with us then you want to leave Cat Ba for Ha Giang, we will arrange a high speed boat come to pick you up on the bay to bring you back to Cat Ba before 4PM.
The last be leaving CAT BA at 4PM, so you can catch the last bus to go to Hai Phong to be on the second bus for Ha Giang.
If you haven't book the Ha Giang bus yet, we can arrange the bus for Ha Giang from Cat Ba. The bus also leaves at 4PM.
