Ideal for dog walking and children (play park available), this park is ideal for a Sunday stroll. Situated near the town and the local leisure centre, it is an ideal place to gather your thoughts. There is water nearby which adds to the scenery.

well worth visiting in th day time lovely walks which lead to the grotto and can walk over to the folly the dry ski slope always popular but evening can be a problem leaving syringes broken bottle etc on the rugby pitch

We come often with our toddler and she enjoys it in any weather. There is a playground for little ones, lots of benches for couples, a bandstand for summer activities and teenagers to hang out, plenty of space to walk your dog, ponds, a dry...More

Visited whilst staying locally as first time Tourist but recommended by a friend who is from the area. Visited with two dogs. Had a great walk up towards the shell grotto with lovely views across the landscape. Lots of off lead time for the dogs...More

whether it's swimming, softplay, the park or even a walk in the woods! it's got it all at very little cost! I can entertain the kids for hours here.

A beautiful park with plenty to do. Well kept with an active volunteer group. Beautiful all year round.

This park has it all, lovely walks, a river to see and then a play park, Community centre, tennis courts, and Pontypool RFC. That for those of us old enough to remember "The Pontypool Frontrow" there is a wooden seat of the 3 players scrummed...More

Kids really enjoy the the visit, they say they can hardly wait to come up to Pontypool, so they can again visit the follies, they live in Penarth, but love to visit grancher, so they can go to the follies

Best bet with the kids is the Harvester which is just down the road.

Yes the toilets are located next to the town hall and by the ski slope and have adaptations for disabled people thank you.
