Visited in the evenings & for sunday lunch. Lovely quiet place. Food well presented and tasted great. Recommend the chicken ceasar salad.
Hubby loved the beef roast.

I am not a fan of sycophantic service, so I don't mind the casual attitude of staff here, but if you would be offended by the waiting staff ignoring you while they finish their own business this is not the place for you.
We stayed at Darlington Hall for a weekend and had 2 amazing breakfasts in the White Hart. Self service - hot food, cereals, cold meat and cheese, pastries, fruit, juices, hot drinks - amazing and good quality.
