Marvellous interesting surprise. So well set up and the walks surrounding it were GREAT. Did not realise so many interesting things on these walks, old shafts, machinery, stories. Highly recommend.

We are so glad you enjoyed our walks. The Great Northern Mine walk is a real eye-opener - to see what the pioneers did way before motor vehicles, roads and telephones is incredible. You really are walking through history.

Thanks for your lovely review, so glad you enjoyed your visit. It is a lovely area, so much cooler than the coast. We are 1000 metres above sea level after all!

Great for history buffs and a fascinating look into the history of mining in Australia. Heaps of rocks and displays so allow plenty of time to get around it all. Volunteers on duty were very helpful.
