We had an amazing time there checking out the mining history of the area, there’s plenty to see, as well as the variety of rocks & minerals on display. There are walking tracks up to the old mines.

Marvellous interesting surprise. So well set up and the walks surrounding it were GREAT. Did not realise so many interesting things on these walks, old shafts, machinery, stories. Highly recommend.

We are so glad you enjoyed our walks. The Great Northern Mine walk is a real eye-opener - to see what the pioneers did way before motor vehicles, roads and telephones is incredible. You really are walking through history.
