An old favourite which hasn’t really changed much over the years. The sardines are fabulous and the fries they serve them with are great too. One portion could do 2 people too. Fab setting on the beach, very relaxed and informal. Well worth a visit....More

This is a lovely Beach. You could say small. It’s a walk over the cliff from Praia Grande. Not for the faint hearted. Also can be reached on the local bus. It’s quite a small beach and it was rather crowded on the day we...More

it is a very nice beach and for some reason was the least busy. The sand is very fine, the water clean and you can make some very instagramable pictures!

Pintadinho Beach is a brilliant place to swim and sun. However, make sure you pay attention to any youngsters because the ocean can be rough, and it hurts if your body is thrown around in the waves and brushed on the sand.

Great sunset spot and protected from the wind. When the tide is out there are caves on the beach to explore and when the tide is in you can climb the cliffs above and walk along to the pier. Great scenic view - you can...More

Spent the day exploring the beaches in the area. Very beautiful as they all are with nice walking paths at the top of the beach. Very close to Molhe beach.

Pintadinho Beach is one the few beaches which benefits from a western facing position so instead of looking out to the ocean you get great views of the harbour and along the coast. Also there are good walks to the lighthouse and an ancient monument.
