An outing from Clarens, west of the GGHNP, into the Park for a drive that took us nearly to the mountain tops was unbelievable, even if you don't enjoy this scenery it will take your breathe away besides the crisp clean air. Not to miss...More

Roads deteriorated Lovely views of amazing mountains Staff at office very unfriendly Why no entrance fee as you enter the control access....surely they can make more money to keep everything in shape?

The drive from Harrismith to Clarens is always serene. It is not your Midlands serene, but another form. Mountains are majestic, imposing but kind. The gold touches on them is awesome. I actually should come again in winter. The breeze is forever there. The roads...More

There is no proper gate entry as it's on a public road, so you can drive through the park at any time. However, if you want to hike or picnic the San Parks Office is open Monday to Sunday.
