Took a few International clients around the park, saw Black Wildebeest and other antelope species. Took a hike up Mushroom Mountain and had a lovely picnic at the campsite.

We stayed at the highlands mountain retreat, which is magical. The views are amazing, and the hiking trail from the cabins offers fantastic views. This is a true hidden gem. The hikes out of the main camp are also well worth the effort.

There is no proper gate entry as it's on a public road, so you can drive through the park at any time. However, if you want to hike or picnic the San Parks Office is open Monday to Sunday.
