As an owner myself, no trip to Bologna could be complete without a visit to the birthplace of Ducati motorcycles. Took the (fantastic) guided factory tour and then browsed the museum. The tour progressed through every area of assembly and showed how truly hand built...More

Ducati’s story is compelling. They started with radios and ended up becoming an icon in the motorcycle world. It is not too big and the entrance fee is €15. It’s worth it to learn about the history.

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I visited the Ducati museum and took the factory tour two days prior to the Misano MotoGP, and it was well worth the visit, although the tickets were not cheap (about $30-35 each, with a discount for Ducati owners). I...More

I agree with others that it is a bit pricy but well worth a visit even for people like myself with little interest in motorbikes (I went with my partner who is fanatical). Bear in mind that it closed on Wednesday.

The place was great, bikes from the beginnings of the brand until the ones used last year. It can take from 15 to 40 minutes, depending if you read everything or just look at the bikes.

No options for a track ride. But the factory and museum are outstanding. Try to get a factory tour before the 3.30 pm I had so you get plenty of time in the museum. Take a camera (no photos in the factory). Their big... More
